Soda Sours

MAY SODA LAUNCH
In May we are launching a trio of soda-inspired sour beers, all made with our fresh sour mixed culture and conditioned to achieve nostalgic flavours of classic fizzy soft drinks.

For this launch we've made beers based on Lemon Ice Tea, Vanilla Cola and Vimto. Our fresh sours tend to have similarities with sodas - spritzy, juicy, bursting with fruit flavours but also with the classic Pastore acidity.

We used organic Sicilian lemons and earl grey tea in Te alla Limone, pouring hazy yellow this is a summer delight of a beer, zingy, zesty and super-refreshing.

For Vanilla Jimmy we made a dark base, which we have found to have real notes of cola, and then conditioned this on vast amounts of bourbon vanilla to bring that smooth vanilla sweetness.

And for Vimtone we used raspberries, blackcurrants and white grapes for that unmistakeable Vimto fruit combination.
